Composites Business
As the global composites leader, Reichhold manufactures resins gelcoats and bonding pastes for customers who fabricate composite products ranging from bathtubs to boat hulls in both reinforced and non-reinforced applications.
Key composites markets served by Reichhold include tub/shower, marine, transportation, infrastructure, wind energy and corrosion-resistance among others.
Coatings Business
Reichhold has been a pioneer in coatings applications since 1927 when founder Henry Reichhold introduced a specialty resin that reduced the dry-time of automotive paints from days to mere hours. That spirit of innovation and technology leadership continues today.
Reichhold produces a variety of resins and curing agents employed by a wide range of coatings formulators. The product line includes powder coating resins, alkyds, acrylics, urethanes, epoxy resins, epoxy curing agents and radiation-cured solutions just to name a few. Our customers employ our resins to produce paints, stains, varnishes, inks and other coatings products.
Graphic Arts Business
A sub-segment of our Coatings business is Graphic Arts. Globally, Reichhold offers resins which are used in both traditional printing and the digital printing market. Our strength in the graphic arts market is derived from core competence in alkyds, rosins, latex emulsions, phenolics, polyesters, and water and solventborne acrylics, urethanes, and epoxies.
These competencies extend to products for offset, heatset, energy cure, specialty inks, overprint varnishes, and thermosetting resins for black and color toners. Reichhold products offer superior dry rate, gloss, chemical resistance, pigment dispersion, substrate adhesion, color projection and low fusing odor.
Dow Reichhold Specialty Latex (DRSL)
Dow Reichhold Specialty Latex, LLC is a 50/50 joint venture between Reichhold and the Dow Chemical Company. DRSL combines the emulsions business of Reichhold with the specialty latex business of Dow Emulsion Polymers to create the world's largest producer of specialty latex. Offerings include a variety of Styrene-Butadiene (SB) Latex, specialty Nitrile and VAE/Acrylic/Copolymer emulsions.

Innovative Performance Systems, LLC (IPS)
Innovative Performance Systems, LLC (IPS, LLC) is a joint venture between Reichhold, Inc. and Ennis Paint. IPS offers a total solution approach for high performance, durable road markings.
IPS (previously IPS, Inc.) was previously a wholly-owned subsidiary of Reichhold, but has enjoyed a close commercial relationship with Ennis Paint since 2002 when Ennis Paint began toll manufacturing IPS products. In 2003 Ennis Paint began a sales representation agreement with IPS, Inc.
